Top Two Tuesday - Celebrity Hairstyles

This week's Top Two Tuesday is celebrity hairstyles.
Ever since I cut my hair short, I miss my long locks.  Now that it's in the growing out stage (to my shoulders already!), I've been searching for the perfect hairstyle once it gets a bit longer.
My top two favorites are:

Anna Kendrick

I always appreciate another gal with curly hair, and her hair makes me wish mine would hurry up and grow.

My second pick is Scarlett Johansson.

I love the effortless look of her wavy hair, whether it's long or short.

Fashion Inspiration - Amanda Seyfried

As most of you know, I am obsessed with whimsical and girly outfits.
When I was mulling over who to feature for this week's "Fashion Inspiration" segment, it dawned on me - Amanda Seyfried!  Besides being gorgeous, I love how she puts together an outfit, and she always manages to look perfectly whimsical, yet still modern.
Here are some of my favorite looks of hers, followed by pieces I've found that remind me of her.

Decor I'm Loving!

My thoughts have been less fashion-related lately, and more decorating-related.  That's because my boyfriend and I are (hopefully) moving in the not-too-distant future.
So all I've been envisioning is how I want our new place to look.  (Yes, before we even have it.  But what can I say, I'm excited!)
Even though I like where we currently live, it's always felt like an in-between home, and has never been fully decorated.  So I'm definitely jumping in and going all out with the new place we'll end up.
Here are some things I'm loving:

Anthropologie, $108-$168

Anthropologie, $598

World Market, $99.99

CB2, $4.95

Are any of you taking on decorating projects?  Feel free to tell me about them in the comments!

Top Two Tuesday - Dream Rooms

I haven't done a Top Two Tuesday in awhile, and I thought this topic was a fun way to start off this week's blogging.
This week's topic is: top two dream rooms.
I currently live in an apartment, so this is something I think about quite often.
The first room I'd like to completely re-do is my bedroom.  I have a huge love for yellow and gray together, and I found this beauty:

There are a few things I'd want to change, but I like the sleek, modern lines of the furniture, and the pops of yellow here and there.

The next room I'd like to re-do is my kitchen.  I have nowhere near the cabinet or counter space I'd like, but I love cooking, so I'd really like to make it a room I'd want to spend time in.
I think this kitchen is adorable, but I don't know how long I'd love the purple cabinets until I got sick of them.  I do love how bright and open it is, though.

Fashion Inspiration - Michelle Williams

Having recently become a fan of Michelle Williams (I know, I'm way late jumping on that bandwagon!), I've really started to admire her fashion sense.  I think she always looks elegant and I love the way goes from funky vintage outfits, to old Hollywood glam.
Here are some of my favorite looks of hers, along with some (affordable!) pieces that are reminiscent of her style:

Express Spring 2011 Swim Collection

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Express. All opinions are 100% mine.

I don't know about you ladies, but finding the right swimsuit for my body seems like a daunting task.  (Is it just me, or are they getting smaller and smaller every year?)

However, I am loving the women's swimwear from Express.  They have everything from modest tankinis to gorgeous ruffled bikinis, and even some chic one pieces!  Here is a picture of my favorite, the Neon Ruffled Bikini (it also comes in pink).  I am a sucker for anything with ruffles, but ruffles in yellow?   I'm sold!

One thing I'm happy about is that the swimwear is really affordable.  I don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on a swimsuit, but most pieces from Express range from about $20-$35.  They also have swim/summer essentials including sandals, tote bags, sunglasses, and hats.

Even though we're due for yet another snowstorm here, I will be dreaming of being on the beach in an adorable swimsuit.

Go check out the collection and let me know which swimsuit you're loving!

Polka Dots!

I am very excited to be doing my first Everybody Everywear challenge post today!
This month's theme is polka dots.  Fortunately, after a recent closet clean out, I happened to hang onto this dress after getting rid of the rest of my few polka dotted pieces.

The only downfall of picking out which pictures to use for my outfit posts is realizing how short my legs are.  Ah, the perks of being 5' tall.  What do you lovely and short ladies suggest?  I gotta work with what I've got!  I'm thinking less ankle boots, more heels.

Outfit details:
Dress: Forever 21
Sweater: BDG (Urban Outfitters)
Scarf: Wisteria
Shoes: Simply Vera

I hope to do many more outfit posts in the future, at least monthly for Everybody Everywear.
Head over to the EBEW site to see how everyone else styled their polka dots!

It's no secret that I love Scarlett Johansson's style.  I think it's come together beautifully as she's matured.  I thought she'd be the perfect person to feature next for my "Fashion Inspiration" post (especially considering how gorgeous she looked at the Oscars!)
