Fashion Inspiration - Zoe Saldana

Even though she's made some pretty daring fashion choices in the past, I'm pretty sure I've never seen Zoe Saldana look anything less than gorgeous.
I love how she can go from effortlessly chic one minute, to all glammed up the next.
Here are my favorite looks of hers, along with the "looks for less".

Wildflower

I think I sound like a broken record on this blog because all I talk about is how much I've been enjoying this weather, but it's true!  We never have days this warm in March, and I've become spoiled by it.  It'll be back to cold, rainy weather soon, so I'm glad I got to soak in the last bit of warmth this weekend.
Also, I've been very lucky with winning amazing giveaways lately.  First, this skirt, and now this bag I'm wearing in the pictures.  It's from Independent Reign and I absolutely adore it.  It fits everything I need, and I'm always drawn to anything with sequins!

Friday Favorites - Spring

I've always said that autumn is my favorite season, but lately I've been having a soft-spot for spring.
All the trees and flowers that are starting to bud has been so inspiring to me recently, and of course, the color palettes for spring fashion are gorgeous.
I happened upon some beautiful palettes from Design Seeds on Pinterest, and I thought they were too stunning not to share.

What makes you think of spring?

Fashion Inspiration - Jennifer Lawrence

Is anyone else so excited for The Hunger Games movie?
I've been eagerly awaiting it for ages - I hope it lives up to the books.  :)
Speaking of The Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence has been looking extra-fabulous lately.  I love her daring fashion choices and how she's not afraid to try out many different styles.
Here are a few of my favorite looks of hers, along with how to get the look for less:

Blowin' in the Wind

We are having the weirdest weather lately!  75 degrees in March?  Unheard of!
I can't help but take advantage of these gorgeous days.
The only downfall of today was the wind!  The gusts were so strong that it knocked my purse right off my shoulder, and left me with some strange-looking faces in my photos.  ;)

Friday Favorites - Green

With St. Patrick's Day right around the corner, it seemed weird to not feature green in today's Friday Favorites segment.  It's never been a huge part of my wardrobe, but I've been branching out a little, and can't resist (most) shades of green!
Here are some of my favorite green finds from around the web:

Everybody Everywear - Green

Things are mostly up & running again - yay!  I just wanted to sneak a quick post in for this month's Everybody Everywear challenge.
This was a fun one because I have the softest green shirt I bought from StyleMint.  But, the real kicker?  This gorgeous twirly skirt.  I won a giveaway over at Rebekah's blog and the prize was this skirt - handmade by her!  I couldn't resist twirling around in it today.

Update

The dreaded thing no one (especially bloggers) wants to happen has happened.  My trusty old computer decided yesterday out of the blue that it was going to work no more, so it's put a bit of a wrench in my blogging and commenting schedule.  I plan to be back to my regular blogging soon, but I just wanted to leave a quick note about why it will be a little silent around here while I get this new computer fully up and running.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend!
I should be back to regular posting soon.  :)

Friday Favorites - Peplums

I love peplums.  I always feared this trend would make me look a little "hippy" (well, more so than usual!) but it's too cute to not give it a try.  With all the different shapes and ways the peplums lay, I'm sure there's a flattering fit for any body type.
Here are some of my favorite garments featuring gorgeous peplums:

So by now you all know how much I love gorgeously detailed clothes.  Beading, sequins, I'm not picky.
One trend I've always been partial to is eyelet garments.
I love that it's less girly than lace, but still offers something really interesting to look at.
Here are some of my favorite pieces:
