I'm not one to normally jump on Target/designer collaborations. It could be partially due to the fact that I don't frequent Target very often after years of working there - we're on a "break". ;) But, also due to the fact that I haven't loved any collection enough to warrant trying to claw my way to get a piece.

I do, however, love Jason Wu. I am so obsessed with his pieces, I don't think I've ever seen one I didn't like.

I'm sure a lot of you have seen the Jason Wu for Target Lookbook by now, but for those of you who haven't, I figured you'd like a sneak peek.

As most of you know, I am obsessed with shoes. I love all fashion and accessories, but there's something about the perfect pair of shoes that has me ready to pull out my wallet!

Sorry that I've been MIA for the past few days, I've come down with a nasty bug and I've been resting lately.

I've never been one to put too much stock in making resolutions for a new year. I've set vague goals in the past, but this year I want to do it differently.

Upon reading all my daily blogs, I became completely inspired. It made me realize that although this is primarily a fashion blog, it should also be personal! I think the pressure to keep up with other bloggers made me lose my voice a bit; I always felt too young and like I wouldn't be taken seriously. I realized I shouldn't worry, I have loyal readers. I'm sure they won't lose interest because of the fact that I'm "only" 21.

I don't want to give an impression that I haven't been loving blogging, because I have. I love posting about fashion and trends, but I hope you all won't mind some lifestyle posts, too.

Anyway, to wrap it up, I thought it'd be fun to try something I've seen on other blogs and make a list of things I want to accomplish before I turn 22. Granted, there are only four months until that so it'll be short, but I think it'll lead to good things for me and for this blog.

Start selling on Etsy (again). I use to make jewelry all the time, then it fizzled out, but there's no time like a new year to start up again!
Read four new books. I love reading, and a book a month should be doable.
Travel. Somewhere, anywhere.
Post more outfit photos. I don't get to post nearly as often as I'd like, so I'm going to buckle down and change that!
Network more. I feel so out of sync with Twitter and Facebook and Google+, and that needs to stop. It's important to me to build friendships with all my readers! Click on any of the links above and say hi :) I love hearing from all of you, I just need to get in the habit of posting more.
Finish decorating my apartment. It's embarrassingly sparsely decorated considering we've lived here two years.
Take a dance class again. Perfect combination of exercise and fun.

If any of you have read this far, I applaud you and thank you ;) Hopefully this will be the start of some interesting posts on my blog, and will give me some goals to work on in the near future. But, don't worry, my weekly feature posts will still happen.

Fall Yarn Wreath

I've been cooped up with a nasty cold for the past few days, and have been going out of my mind with boredom! I mean, there are only so many things to watch on Netflix before you go crazy.

I decided to look around Pinterest for craft ideas, and I found so many gorgeous projects.

I decided to try my hand at making a fall yarn wreath, which I found here.

It was my first time trying something like this, so it's not perfect, but I'm proud of it, and it was a lot of fun to make.

Gorgeous (Almost) Fall Day

I had a very nice day with my boyfriend. We took a drive to a really cute town full of shops, galleries, and a winery in a restored woolen mill from 1864. It's full of bits and pieces of history and old pictures throughout the hallways, and was a really fun and interesting trip.

EBEW - Mixed Prints

This month's Everybody Everywear challenge was fun, but a toughie - mixed prints.

If this took place in the fall, I would've had no problem picking out an outfit. However, summer is another story. After looking in my closet, I apparently stick to extremes - solids, or crazy patterns that would give anyone a headache when mixed. ;)

I decided to keep my outfit cohesive enough by using a similar color palate, and crossed my fingers that a floral would mix nicely with abstract...palm trees?

It doesn't look as crazy as it sounds. Here's what I came up with:

Rainy Day Fashion

It's been a very rainy day here so far, which is a nice change from the humid, hot weather we've been having.

It's making me long for fall - the weather, the clothes, the shoes. Especially the shoes!

I've decided that from now on, I'm going to be prepared: umbrella, coat, and proper shoes any time it's raining. It's a much better idea than my previous "duck and run" rainy day motto.

I got to enjoy some beautiful weather this weekend, which was a nice change from 50-something and rainy like we've been having.

I have been MIA for the past couple days due to a wonderful weekend trip out of town, and Easter spent with loved ones. I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing Easter, too.

While out of town, we visited the Kohler Design Center which is truly a work of art. For those of you who don't know, it's a showroom featuring "three stories of kitchen and bath products, designer rooms, luxury furniture and Kohler history".

My favorite part of it was the Designer Room Gallery, which has rooms created by renowned interior designers using Kohler bath and kitchen products. I was happily surprised by how high-fashion some of them were.

I took a few pictures while we were there, so those supplemented by pictures provided by Kohler Design Center will give you a peek into the beautiful creations, and maybe even give you some decorating ideas!

Warby Parker Eyeglasses

As someone who has (temporarily?) given up contacts, I'm always on the hunt for stylish eyeglasses.

I recently heard about Warby Parker, a retailer selling glasses.

All of their online eyeglasses cost $95, and better yet, for every pair that's sold, they donate a pair of eyeglasses to someone in need.

They have a virtual try on that lets you upload a picture of yourself and try on any pair online. But, if that doesn't strike your fancy, they also have a free at home try-on program that lets you choose up to five pairs of glasses to try for five days so you can get a feel for which one is best!

Decor I'm Loving!

My thoughts have been less fashion-related lately, and more decorating-related. That's because my boyfriend and I are (hopefully) moving in the not-too-distant future.

So all I've been envisioning is how I want our new place to look. (Yes, before we even have it. But what can I say, I'm excited!)

Even though I like where we currently live, it's always felt like an in-between home, and has never been fully decorated. So I'm definitely jumping in and going all out with the new place we'll end up.

Top Two Tuesday - Dream Rooms

I haven't done a Top Two Tuesday in awhile, and I thought this topic was a fun way to start off this week's blogging.

This week's topic is: top two dream rooms.
I currently live in an apartment, so this is something I think about quite often.
The first room I'd like to completely re-do is my bedroom. I have a huge love for yellow and gray together, and I found this beauty:

There are a few things I'd want to change, but I like the sleek, modern lines of the furniture, and the pops of yellow here and there.

The next room I'd like to re-do is my kitchen. I have nowhere near the cabinet or counter space I'd like, but I love cooking, so I'd really like to make it a room I'd want to spend time in.
I think this kitchen is adorable, but I don't know how long I'd love the purple cabinets until I got sick of them. I do love how bright and open it is, though.
